Production Associate – Industrial Duration: 3-Month Contract Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Weekend work may be required based on business needs) Work Setting: 100% On-Site
Sigma, Inc. is hiring dependable and motivated Production Associates for an exciting 3-month contract opportunity in Hicksville, NY. If you have experience in manufacturing, food production, warehouse operations, assembly, production line work, packaging, or general labor, we encourage you to apply.

Reliable transportation is required. Steel-toed shoes are required. (Composite safety shoe covers may be available if needed.)
Job Responsibilities- Follow supervisor instructions to meet daily production goals.
- Transfer production carts between filler, chiller, and work-in-progress (WIP) areas.
- Monitor product flow and organize products efficiently.
- Orient product alignment on production equipment.
- Flip trays in chillers when required.
- Rework products that do not meet quality specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
- Follow HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and company safety procedures.
- Report production discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors.
- Assist in kitchen or other production areas when needed.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work in hot, cold, and refrigerated production environments.
- Comfortable working in noisy industrial environments.
- Work in areas where dust may be present.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in:
Production, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Warehouse Operations, Packaging, Assembly Line, Machine Operation. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

- 3:30 PM – 1:00 AM
- Weekend overtime may be required based on production needs.
