Business Development/Sales Specialist, Hicksville, NY

Our staffing companies are committed to providing high-quality staffing solutions across various healthcare, business, and governmental settings. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development/Sales Specialist to join our team and help expand our client base and services.

Job Summary

The Business Development/Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients, and achieving sales targets. This role involves understanding client needs, promoting Horizon’s staffing services, and delivering customized staffing solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Develop Leads: Research and target new business opportunities within the healthcare sector, including hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their staffing needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with recruitment and account management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Reporting: Track sales metrics and prepare regular reports for management on sales activity, forecasts, and client feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales or business development role, preferably within the staffing or related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
