The Electrical Installation Technician performs residential electrical installation and repair work, as directed by the Electrical Advisor or Install Manager. This role requires technical skill, professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for customers' homes. The ideal candidate is clean, organized, safety-conscious, customer-friendly, and proud of high-quality workmanship.

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Inspect systems and components for hazards, defects, and repair needs while ensuring code compliance.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity for safety and compatibility.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring, fixtures, and equipment based on specifications and local codes.
• Install ground leads, power cables, conduit, boxes, switches, and outlets.
• Follow project instructions from the Electrical Advisor and Install Manager.
• Wear floor protection in customers' homes and leave work areas clean; maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organization.
• Uphold company safety policies, standards, and professional appearance.

• Minimum 3-4+ years of verifiable residential electrical service, repair, or installation experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, NEC/NFPA standards, safety practices, and local building codes.
• Uniform Building Codes and lighting systems.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Solid communication and customer service skills.
• Must have appropriate trade tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders up to 26 ft.
• Must be able to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and in field conditions.
• Employment is contingent upon completion of applicable pre-employment screening, consistent with local law.
