Job Description & How to Apply Below
The Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lock & Door Technician to service our national account clients. This is a hands-on mechanical role focused on commercial locksmithing and door hardware — installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, keying systems, door closers, exit devices, and commercial doors and frames. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of retail, healthcare, and corporate sites, often as the face of Top Lock in front of store managers and facility contacts.
Duties Install, service, and repair commercial locksets including mortise, cylindrical, and deadbolt hardware, as well as high-security cylinders
Rekey, pin, and service master key systems; originate and duplicate keys, including restricted keyways
Install, repair, and adjust door closers, exit devices/panic hardware, hinges, pivots, and continuous hinges
Diagnose and correct door alignment issues — sagging doors, frame problems, latch misalignment, thresholds, sweeps, and gasketing
Perform site surveys and recommend appropriate hardware solutions tailored to client needs
Maintain detailed documentation for every job — photos, parts used, service reports, and recommendations via our software
Deliver excellent customer service on-site, clearly communicating work performed and next steps to client contacts
** Low voltage experience, access control, CCTV, and door replacement experience is a PLUS!
Requirements Proven experience as a commercial locksmith or commercial door hardware technician
Strong mechanical knowledge of commercial lock hardware and major manufacturers

Excellent customer service orientation with clear, professional communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record — this is a field-based role Familiarity with electrified hardware or access control is a plus, but not required for this role
