+ Operation Efficiency

+ Freight Arrival logged within 2 hours of arrival.

+ Arrive to Reconcile -  24 hours

+ Reconcile to Put Away - 24 hours.

+ Requested Ship to Actual Ship - 48 hours.

+ Cycle Count Accuracy - Accuracy at 95 or above.

+ All required MAS event codes are entered timely and also accurately to ensure Data Integrity and accurate timing reports.

+ Parcel

            - Freight arrived to Entrada Log - 2 Hrs.

+ LTL /FTL

              - Freight arrived to Entrada Log - 2  Hrs.

+ Loading

               - Work order ready to load complete - 2 Hours

Administration and Personnel Management

- Ensure that team members meets their work schedules.

- Guide them and support them through their personal goals.

- Ensure that company controls, policies, procedures, processes, applications, tools, and systems are understood and implemented for self and the team.

- Escalate problems or concerns to Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.

- Monitor and maintain low levels of supplemental hours.

- Assist team members in problem solving and provide guidance in ways of improving performance.

Operations

- Actively report to Supervisor inconsistencies in the processes.

- Monitor workload and ensure proper work distribution.

- Manage, prevent, and resolve inventory, OSD, process and customer exceptions.

- Assigns duties and examines work ensuring compliance to policies and procedures.

- Perform all operations in compliance with the Expeditors Operational Process Standards.

- Lead the team to ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulations.

- Support the entire warehouse team and provide coverage in other areas as needed.

Operations & Compliance

- Monitor service execution within the Distribution department, leading and assisting our relentless pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence:

- Performance Management:
Ensure oversight, including self-assessments and daily, weekly and monthly performance, escalating issues with supervisor so the root cause can be identified and issues are resolved proactively.

- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas to improve efficiency to offer customers better cycle times, service while improving margins.

- Make certain that client specific instructions are understood at the desk level to properly process shipments and invoices. Maintain SOPs updated for all customers.

- Ensure proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools.

- Make certain that files are logged correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types and events.

- Ensure that all correspondence within business unit is handled timely and professionally.

- Make sure the team is using approved service providers.

Finance

- Understand and comply with all our policies, including the credit policy.

- Ensure the team is aware of the rates for each account and align providers to the scope of service required by the customer.

Security, Health and Safety

- Responsible to inform immediately to the Branch's Health and Safety representative any unsafe condition that could put employees at risk in the work place as well as any incident or accident.

To be the most effective in this position we are looking for the following skills and experience:

- Education (preferred level):
Associates Degree in Business Administration or other related education; or equivalent of education and experience.
