Accounting Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)
Onsite | High Point, NC
As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting core AP/AR functions, and ensuring smooth reconciliation and reporting processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank, vendor, and general ledger accounts
- Review invoices, expenses, and payment requests for accuracy
- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting support
- Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Support audits and documentation requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely financial processing
- 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR experience
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
Contract-to-Hire opportunity with potential for long-term placement.
