Alpha Graphics of Downtown Raleigh is a growing commercial printing and marketing services provider serving businesses throughout the Triangle region. We specialize in marketing collateral, signage, direct mail, graphic design, and print production for a wide range of local and regional clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required.

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience.
• Experience in a small-to-medium sized business environment preferred.
• Experience in a production, manufacturing, or printing environment is a plus.

• Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize the company’s MIS (Management Information System) used to track production, costing, and invoicing.
• Ability to learn and interact with the company’s CRM platform.
• Familiarity with payroll software and benefits administration tools.

• Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly with management and staff.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment.

• Work closely with the current Controller to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s accounting practices, systems, and workflows.
• Gradually assume responsibility for day-to-day accounting functions as part of a planned transition.

• Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes.
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections where appropriate.
• Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing or vendor invoices.

• Maintain accurate and current financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
• Maintain general ledger entries and documentation.
• Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes.

• Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements.
• Maintain employee payroll records.
• Assist with administration of employee benefits programs in coordination with the company’s HR Manager.
• Stay informed regarding changes in payroll and benefits regulations.

• Assist with preparation of internal financial reports.
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Provide documentation and support for outside accounting and tax professionals.

• Utilize company accounting and reporting platforms including Quick Books and Qvinci.
• Utilize internal MIS and CRM systems to ensure alignment between operational and financial data.
• Support ongoing improvement of financial processes through effective use of company systems.

Salary range: $50,000 – $65,000, depending on experience.

This is a full-time, salaried position based at our Garner, North Carolina facility. The position requires in-person attendance and candidates must live within approximately 30 miles of Garner, NC.
