We're seeking a polished, highly organized Executive Assistant to support the legal department of a Piedmont Triad municipality
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment and can confidently manage confidential information, multiple priorities, and a wide range of internal and external relationships.
What You'll Do- Provide day-to-day administrative and executive support to a municipal legal department
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and conference registrations
- Assist with payroll, timekeeping, budget administration, invoices, credit card reconciliation, and reimbursements
- Assist with drafting and processing correspondence and legal documents
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Assist with research, special projects, and other administrative functions
- Interact professionally with elected officials, municipal leadership, department staff, attorneys, and the public
- Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree + 3 years of progressive office administration experience OR
- Associate degree in office administration, business, accounting/finance, paralegal studies/technology, or related field + 5 years of progressive experience OR
- High school diploma/equivalent + 10 years of progressive office administration experience
- NC Notary Public or ability to become one within 3 months of hire
- Valid driver's license
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, judgment, initiative, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to client service and professionalism
Preferred: Experience supporting an attorney, law firm, in-house legal department, government agency, or similar professional office.
Pay: $25.00-$35.33/hour DOE
Annualized Equivalent: Approximately $54,196-$73,491
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Dress: Professional/business attire
