Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Hourly
Automotive Body Technician
Applicants MUST have a technical degree or previous automotive body shop technician experience!
Responsibilities- Perform high-quality repairs to damaged vehicle bodies and parts according to manufacturer and dealership specifications.
- Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and efficiently — “fix it right the first time.”
- Prepare vehicles for body repair and refinishing work.
- Verify parts against estimates and ensure all necessary components are ordered and received correctly.
- Notify management of any additional repairs, issues, or potential delays that may affect job quality or completion time.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Stay current with training and certifications as required.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations — including those governing the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE (including respirators).
