Job Summary

Essential Functions- Develop advanced custom reports: manage requirements gathering, specifications development, design, and build of production‑level reports for program operations, management, and clients.
- Own deliverable commitments for substance, format, and development time; communicate status and negotiate paths forward in case of conflicts.
- Maintain clear communication of requested deliverables, provide timelines, recommendations, and prioritize work by account.
- Adhere to corporate policies governing access to and distribution of PII and confidential data.
- Maintain familiarity with Valeris data sources and source systems; identify data anomalies, communicate findings, and partner in solutions.
- Work with SQL, MS Excel, Micro Strategy, Valeris CRM platforms, and other BI tools for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
- Identify and implement solutions to streamline frequent tasks and improve operations across departments.
- Provide leadership and training on data mining, report creation, and self‑service reporting tools.
- Assist program staff in understanding and interpreting Valeris data.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, including adherence to training deadlines and SOPs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4+ years of client‑facing experience interpreting data and presenting business insights.
- Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, reporting, and data visualization.
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to elicit requirements and manage changes.
- Strong technical writing and SQL/SQL Server proficiency, including query optimization.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and discovery.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, health care, insurance, direct marketing, or finance is highly desirable.
