CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all on‑site civil construction activities. This role will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage all on‑site civil construction operations, including grading, utilities, roadways, and site development.
• Execute and maintain project schedules and budgets for civil projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to meet project requirements and resolve issues.
• Review plans, specifications, and civil drawings to ensure compliance with project goals and regulatory standards.
• Lead by example in enforcing safety standards and procedures.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and subcontractors.
• Attend and actively participate in project meetings, providing input on progress and risk mitigation.
• Prepare and submit regular progress, quality, and safety reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of field construction management experience as a Superintendent, specifically in civil/site work.
• Proven experience managing heavy/civil projects, including grading, utilities, or road construction.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant construction tools.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
