Construction Superintendent

Project to start December 2024 in Valdese NC

• Oversee construction process of Historical Adaptive Re-Use Renovation project from start to completion.
• Manage and document construction process for the duration of the project.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and building code compliance per company requirements.
• Responsible for OSHA compliance
• Maintain daily reports on company provided form.
• Adhere to and update construction schedules.
• Responsible for scheduling subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Schedule inspections and accompany inspector on all inspections.
• Troubleshoot problems on the jobsite.
• Write and record RFI’s.
• Assist in reviewing product submittals.
• Maintain as-built drawings and specifications.
• Work with subcontractors to acquire close-out documents.
• Create and follow up punchlists.

• 5 years experience in Historical Renovation and Multi-family supervision preferred
• Must be skilled in reading and understanding plans and specifications, including shop drawings.
• Knowledgeable in construction means and methods.
• Computer Literate
• Must be self-driven and motivated, have strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work and get along with others.
