Salary Range: $76,956 - $115,434.
To oversee and manage construction projects ranging from $5 million to $25 million. Be responsible for onsite coordination, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules and adhering to budgetary guidelines. Enforce safety and quality control per government specifications and contract drawings. May operate in Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officer roles.
Essential Functions- Work collaboratively with assigned Projector Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings to post project documentation.
- Perform all project start-up and close out activities as described in the Procedures Manual.
- Responsible for Project Site Utilization Plan and documentation as required per specifications and on-site existing condition.
- Responsible for scheduling, sequencing, and phasing of construction activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and the project Subcontractors.
- Responsible for ordering and scheduling delivery and pick up of any equipment and/or material required by General Contractor.
- Perform the required project line and grade layout responsibilities.
- Thoroughly understand, organize, and maintain all project contract documents including contract drawings and specifications on a regular basis.
- Prepare and distribute all field related project administrative documents.
- Implement and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Quality Control procedures.
- Responsible as project SSHO, implement and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Safety procedures. Hold weekly Safety “Toolbox Talk” meetings with staff and subcontractors.
- Assist other Superintendents as required.
- Perform quality and safety inspections to comply with contract and regulatory requirements.
Ability to lead and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and resolve conflicts.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
Ability to create and manage construction schedules, ensuring timely project completion.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and interpreting construction plans.
Skills:
Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize construction processes and resources.
Aptitude for identifying and resolving issues that arise during construction projects.
Skills:
Ability to analyze information, evaluate alternatives, and make sound decisions.
Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders.
Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience as a superintendent.
