If you are a Preconstruction Manager or Estimator with at least 3 years of recent commercial construction experience, please read on! Because of the growth of our Preconstruction Operations, we are looking for a Preconstruction Manager or Estimator to play a critical role in the early stages of our projects, overseeing planning, budgeting, and coordination to ensure seamless project execution.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a proven track record with Class A Interior Fit Outs and/or Ground Up Construction Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to define project scope and goals.
- Develop comprehensive project estimates and budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships, soliciting and analyzing bids.
- Prepare project schedules and coordinate preconstruction activities.
- Provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs and performance.
- Oversee permit acquisition and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support the transition from preconstruction to construction phases.
Qualifications:
- 3+ recent years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or "cradle to grave" project management within the commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience with Class A Interior Fit Outs and Ground Up Construction Projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
