Vice President of Construction

As Vice President of Construction, they will work closely with the executive leadership team to oversee project execution across North Carolina, providing leadership to Project Executives, Project Managers, General Superintendents, and operational teams.

They will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiencies, developing leadership talent, and ensuring consistency across every phase of project delivery.

• Provide executive leadership across all construction operations throughout North Carolina.
• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Executives, Project Managers, General Superintendents, and field leadership teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Drive operational consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the business.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, business development, and executive leadership to support strategic growth.
• Review project financial performance, forecasting, staffing plans, and operational metrics.
• Identify project risks early and implement proactive solutions to minimise commercial and operational exposure.
• Support business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and helping secure new opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and key industry partners.
• Champion leadership development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
• Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvements, and company-wide initiatives.
