Customer Service Team Lead

Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for organization and customer satisfaction? LaSalle Network is currently working with a benefits solutions client who is seeking a Customer Service Team Lead to join their growing team. This role is onsite, based out of their High Point, NC office. The Customer Service Team Lead will serve as a primary point of contact and leader for a team of Customer Service Representatives, ensuring that incoming calls from various clients related to healthcare benefits, life insurance benefits, disability plans, and other human resource-related services are handled efficiently and effectively.

Customer Service Team Lead Responsibilities:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of Customer Service Representatives.
  • Educating and advising callers on their benefits, the system, and all related processes.
  • Processing enrollment-related transactions and taking ownership of issues through resolution.
  • Researching customer requests and following up with customers as needed.
  • Assisting with company projects and handling administrative tasks.
  • Monitoring team performance and providing regular feedback.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer service efficiency.
  • Handling escalated customer issues and providing solutions.
  • Other projects assigned as needed.

Customer Service Team Lead Requirements:

  • BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of customer service experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be conversational.
  • Extremely resourceful and able to problem solve.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service consistently.
