You will also have the opportunity to help build and potentially lead our future Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program.
The candidate selected for this position will perform all duties directed by the Dean, the Director of Pediatric Dentistry, and the executive leadership team (ELT). We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist to serve in clinical and potential academic roles, educating future dentists while shaping pediatric protocols across our facilities. The candidate will be expected to perform the following duties, including but not limited to:
- Patient Care: Help address a major gap in pediatric oral health in the Triad region. You will serve the community by treating patients in world class offices and hubs, ensuring high-quality and compassionate outcomes.
- Teach and Mentor: Deliver and teach clinical instruction in pediatric dentistry to predoctoral students and AEGD residents.
- Develop a Residency Pathway: Play an integral role in designing and launching a Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program, with potential to serve as Program Director.

- DDS or DMD degree (or foreign equivalent), active full dental licensure in the state of North Carolina (or eligible for North Carolina dental licensure)
- Completion of a CODA-accredited pediatric dentistry program in the US.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Dentistry required
- 5 years of experience in clinical practice of dentistry preferred.
- Leadership experience and program building is preferred.
- Proficiency in providing pediatric dental care in an ambulatory, inpatient, operating room, and urgent care setting.
- Demonstrated passion for treatment and clinical supervision.
- Strong interest in residency program development is highly encouraged.

- Clinical documentation, diagnosis, and treatment planning using electronic health records (EHR) such as EPIC systems.
