Dental Assistant – Oral Surgery

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and break down the operatory post-treatment
• Manage infection control and prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice, including x-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Daily travel to assigned offices
• Valid non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance, or ability to be insured under the employer’s fleet insurance program
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds

Demonstrates expertise in patient care support, including taking dental X-rays, managing infection control, and educating patients on oral hygiene. Holds an active state license and x-ray certification, with strong communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations.
