Ideal Candidate Expectations Management
  • Construction – Basic knowledge of the construction process and construction administration
  • Documentation – Strong knowledge of construction document production, and detailing.
  • Communication – Strong graphic, written, and oral communication skills. Ability to present ideas and strategies quickly, thoughtfully, and concisely.
Design
  • Discovery – Ability to diagram, research and ideate to build a design concept under supervision of an Architect.
  • Design – Ability to take direction on a design concept and translate it into physical space and form that are beautiful, functional, and impactful.
  • Visualization – Ability to convey design ideas in unique and visual compelling formats. Hand sketching, 3D renderings, diagrams, virtual reality, etc.
  • Tectonics – Ability to think holistically about a concept early for code compliance and constructability.
  • Collaboration – strong team player who is inclusive and inspiring.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design,or Architectural Technology and 3-5 years related professional experience.
  • Proven design experience in similar project types, sizes, and team structures.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.

Position Summary

The position of Architectural Staff Level Iis a non-licensed architectural staff member thatperforms a variety of architectural design assignments of moderate size and complexity.

  • Displays full competency in all conventional aspects of architecture.
  • Works independently to perform a variety of assignments related to architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity.
  • Performs analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts.
  • Reviews completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations.
  • Other related duties as assigned by Partner(s).
  • Attend organization and community events on behalf of STITCH, as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture on the path to licensure.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency with BIM software (Revit preferred); 3D modeling software (Sketch Up preferred);
    Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for design; attention to detail.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
