About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Architectural Production Manager / Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for a well-established architectural firm. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys leading production teams, maintaining technical excellence, mentoring staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality construction documents across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing production standards, implementing QA/QC procedures, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting projects from design development through construction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the architectural production team.
- Establish and maintain drawing standards, Revit templates, and documentation procedures.
- Perform comprehensive QA/QC reviews of construction documents prior to issuance.
- Coordinate production schedules and staffing assignments.
- Work closely with Project Managers and firm leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Mentor and train architects, designers, and production staff.
- Review drawings for completeness, constructability, technical accuracy, and code compliance.
- Participate in project production and provide technical solutions to complex design challenges.
- Coordinate with structural, civil, MEP, and specialty consultants.
- Support permitting efforts and construction administration.
- Drive continuous improvements in production workflows, BIM standards, and documentation quality.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional architectural experience.
- Licensed Architect preferred.
- Extensive experience producing high-quality construction documents.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and building systems.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
