This full‑time, on‑site Hospitality Architect role is based in Western Prong, NC. The Hospitality Architect will be responsible for designing hospitality‑focused spaces within industrial and modular construction projects, ensuring alignment with BUILDZ®’s precision construction standards and volumetric processes. Day‑to‑day tasks include developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and technical documentation, coordinating with engineering and construction teams, and integrating modular design principles into hospitality environments such as hotels, guest facilities, and mixed‑use spaces.

The role also involves collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to translate operational needs and guest experience goals into functional, buildable designs, while maintaining compliance with building codes, accessibility requirements, and safety regulations. The architect will participate in design reviews, support value engineering efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows for modular hospitality projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in hospitality architecture, including space planning and design for hotels, resorts, or guest facilities.
• Strong capabilities in architectural design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, BIM tools) and familiarity with modular or volumetric construction methods.
• Knowledge of building codes, life safety standards, accessibility regulations (e.g., ADA), and hospitality‑specific compliance requirements.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, MEP, and construction professionals, from concept through construction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced, production‑oriented environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a closely related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred.
• Experience in industrial or modular construction settings is a plus, along with familiarity with factory‑built or off‑site fabrication processes.
