Industrial Designer

We are seeking an Industrial Designer to support the design and development of consumer‑level products from concept through production. This role is ideal for a designer who is eager to build hands‑on experience, contribute creative ideas, and collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities- Support the end‑to‑end design process, including ideation, sketching, 3D modeling, prototyping, and refinements
- Translate creative concepts into functional, manufacturable designs
- Develop CAD models, drawings, and basic renderings for product concepts
- Assist in material selection, finishes, colors, and surface treatments
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, product management, sourcing, marketing)
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from senior designers and stakeholders
- Support preparation of design documentation for tooling and manufacturing
- Stay informed on consumer trends, materials, and design innovations
- Other related tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience or relevant internships in product or industrial design
- Foundational proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., Solid Works, Rhino, Key Shot, Onshape, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply basic engineering concepts
- Strong sketching and visual communication skills
- Basic understanding of product development and manufacturing processes
- Ability to receive feedback, iterate designs, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience designing consumer products (home goods, lifestyle, electronics, furniture, or similar)
- Exposure to mass production, tooling constraints, or supplier collaboration
- Familiarity with prototype fabrication methods (3D printing, mock‑ups)
- Portfolio demonstrating design process, problem‑solving, and aesthetics
- Creative thinking and curiosity
