Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)  in High Point, NC

Provide specialized speech-language pathology support as a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a K‑12 educational setting, focusing primarily on K‑5th grade students. This contract position offers a full‑time schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the current school year, starting ASAP through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed Speech‑Language Pathologists in implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, adapting to shifting needs and grade levels as required.
  • Support communication interventions to improve speech, language, and communication skills in a school environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in team meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to foster student development.
Qualifications
  • Certification as a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is required.
  • Experience working in school settings, preferably with K‑5 students.
  • Ability to manage a moderate caseload and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams.
