Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) for a full-time, onsite position in Sanford, NC
.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, providing essential munication support and ensuring equal access to educational opportunities.

• Facilitate munication between students who are deaf or hard of hearing and their peers, teachers, and staff.
• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa in various educational settings.
• Collaborate with educators to support students academic and social success.
• Ensure that students have access to all instructional materials and classroom discussions.
• Participate in IEP meetings to discuss and plan for student needs.

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and a thorough understanding of Deaf culture.
• Relevant certification or licensure as required by the state of North Carolina.
