Adjunct Instructor Of Mathematics Education
The Department of Educator Preparation in the Stout School of Education at High Point University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics Education.
Teach undergraduate and graduate students in the Math Methods courses, providing high-quality instruction and engaging learning experiences.
Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes and program goals.
Maintain active communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments.
Participate in any required departmental meetings and comply with university policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching mathematics methods across multiple grade levels (elementary, middle, and/or secondary)
- Commitment to collaboration, innovation, and excellence in educator preparation
- Experience working with various learners and all-encompassing teaching practices
- Familiarity with North Carolina standards and licensure requirements
- Experience integrating learning technologies and data-informed practices in mathematics instruction
