Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special Education Teacher
Location: Bahama, NC
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement IEPs.
- Adapt lessons for students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Provide instructional support in a positive environment.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to meet students' needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Maintain accurate student records.
- Participate in professional development.
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).
- Valid North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience with students with special needs.
- Strong understanding of IEP development.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
