Position OverviewThe School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences seeks a dedicated Instructor of Practice to join the faculty. The successful candidate will teach and mentor students in the health sciences program and contribute to service activities at the School, College, University, and professional organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instruction in various courses within the health sciences program; develop and implement engaging teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
- Provide academic and professional mentorship to students, supporting their academic and career development.
- Participate in service activities, including committees, faculty meetings, and representing the School in professional organizations.
- Assist in the development and revision of curriculum to meet evolving professional needs and accreditation standards.

Master’s degree in a health sciences‑related field. Preferred background in one or more of the following:
Aging, Healthcare Management & Policy, Human Resources and Management, Nutrition, Ethics, Integrative Health and Wellness, Health Promotion, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Research Methods, or Scientific Writing.
Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students. Evidence of strong teaching ability, including experience with distance/online instruction, and ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
