Job Description: We are actively seeking passionate and dedicated Exceptional Children (EC) Teachers to join a school team in the Wendell Falls area near Raleigh, NC
. Opportunities are available in both Self-Contained and Resource classroom settings. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to helping students with diverse learning needs succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide specialized instruction and accommodations to support student success
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Active North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) Exceptional Children Teaching License required
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Exceptional Children Education, or a related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively manage classroom environments and support diverse student needs
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply

• Serve students receiving the majority of their instruction within an EC classroom setting
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs

• Support students receiving EC services while collaborating with general education staff
