Adjunct Faculty, English & Modern Languages

Position Summary

Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part‑time adjunct teaching positions in the English & Modern Languages discipline. These part‑time positions will primarily teach in‑person classes on the main campus unless otherwise specified. The main campus is located on 500+ acres of beautiful landscape and is only 25 minutes from the Charlotte metropolitan area.

• Teach undergraduate courses in the English & Modern Languages discipline.
• Maintain regular and predictable on‑campus attendance for in‑person classes.
• Align teaching activities with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
• Perform other job duties or responsibilities as assigned.

• Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and college teaching experience.
• Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia, and other e‑learning tools is preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
