Adjunct Faculty, Chemistry & Physics

Wingate University serves more than 3,400 students on two campuses. Our main campus is located on 500+ acres of beautiful landscape and is only 25 minutes from the Charlotte metropolitan area.

Wingate University is seeking applicants to keep on file for future adjunct teaching positions in the areas below. These part‑time positions will primarily teach in‑person classes on our main campus unless otherwise specified.

• Teach undergraduate courses in the Chemistry and Physics disciplines.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance on campus (for in‑person classes).
• Align with the University’s mission, vision, and strategic roadmap.
• Perform other job duties and responsibilities assigned.

• Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree or higher in a related discipline and college teaching experience.
• Experience with a learning management system (e.g., Canvas) and content development tools such as Zoom, Snagit, Camtasia, and other e‑learning tools is preferred.
