Licensed-Certified Salary determined by the NC Department of Public Instruction.
Retention Bonus OpportunityGCS offers an $4,000 annual retention stipend for licensed educators hired into designated Career and Technical Education (CTE) Hard‑to‑Fill positions in the following areas:
- Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer/Network Engineering)
- Healthcare (Nursing Fundamentals)
- Aviation (Aerospace Technology)
- Candidates must meet all NCDPI licensure and certification requirements for instruction in these areas.
- Teachers must serve in the Hard‑to‑Fill position and then return to the same position the following school year to qualify.
- The stipend is awarded as a lump sum payment of $4,000
, paid each September of the school year.
