Electrical Technician - US, North Carolina - 12 Month Contract
What you'll do:- Assist with startup of all electrical gear to include Low and Medium Voltage switch gear, motor control center (MCCs), power distribution panel (PDPs), uninterruptible power supply (UPS), electrical panels, and end point equipment.
- Supports system walkdowns which interface with Electrical systems.
- Performs electrical maintenance activities in support of daily operation of the site such as conducting preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all electrical systems.
- Assists with maintenance activities for switch gear (Low and Medium voltage), MCCs, PDPs, UPS systems, switchboards, power panels, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motors.
- Ability to read and interpret design schematics for electrical systems & equipment.
- Effective communication, both written and oral.
- Willingness to collaborate and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to support 24/7 manufacturing facility, including shift, on-call and weekends.
