A growing manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Plant Engineer to support plant operations, capital projects, and equipment reliability initiatives within a fast-paced industrial
This role will lead electrical and facility-related projects while supporting troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts across the plant. The position offers a mix of hands‑on engineering, project management, and operational support.
What you’ll be doing- Running capital projects across the plant including machine moves, switch gear replacements, and equipment installs
- Supporting maintenance and operations teams with electrical troubleshooting and downtime reduction
- Improving preventative maintenance programs and helping drive overall equipment reliability
- Working on power distribution, motors/drives, panels, and general plant electrical infrastructure
- Coordinating contractors and vendors during shutdowns and project work
- Supporting new equipment commissioning and startup activities
- Partnering closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams on plant improvements
- Getting involved in continuous improvement and modernization projects across the facility
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment
- Someone who enjoys being hands‑on and close to operations
- Background in electrical engineering, plant engineering, maintenance engineering, or facilities engineering
- Experience running or supporting capital projects inside an operating facility
- Strong troubleshooting ability with industrial electrical systems and manufacturing equipment
- Exposure to switch gear, motors/drives, power distribution, PLCs, or controls systems
- Able to work cross‑functionally with maintenance and operations without needing constant direction
- Engineering degree preferred, but solid industrial experience carries weight here
- Good mix of project work and day‑to‑day engineering support
- High visibility role with direct impact on plant operations
