Director of Engineering

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead a team of engineers, drive project execution, support new product development, and collaborate across manufacturing, design, logistics, and operations to ensure successful project delivery. This role combines technical leadership, strategic planning, continuous improvement, and team development.

• Lead and manage all engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer specifications.
• Review engineered drawings and designs for accuracy, manufacturability, and structural integrity.
• Allocate engineering resources and balance workloads to meet production schedules.
• Partner with design, manufacturing, logistics, and account services teams to support successful project execution.
• Serve as the engineering expert during project kickoff meetings and troubleshooting discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Support research and development efforts for existing and new products.
• Manage engineering capacity planning and forecasting.
• Develop and mentor engineering team members while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Establish performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and support employee development and succession planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management and resource planning skills.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and material properties.
• Experience reviewing designs for manufacturability and structural performance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering-related software tools.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement.
