Job Summary

This job posting is for two Mechanical Engineers within the plant Maintenance Support Engineering (MSE) and Operations Support Engineering (OSE) teams. These engineers will play a vital role in ensuring quality equipment reliability and the success of component maintenance and planning activities. A key attribute of the role is to ensure component reliability is consistent with station goals. This position can be hired as either an Engineer III or Senior Engineer depending on experience.

Engineer III is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees at this level solve more complex problems in engineering areas of mechanical systems and components with general supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is complex and varied. Senior Engineer is the career/senior level of the Engineering classification hierarchy.

Employees at this level manage work in engineering areas of mechanical systems and components with minimal supervision.
