Senior Financial Services Representative at Smart Bank.

- Processing complex financial transactions
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and directing inquiries appropriately
- Managing lobby operations: greeting clients, offering hospitality, ensuring refreshments
- Accurately receiving deposits and payments, verifying checks, issuing receipts, and giving credit in accordance with bank policies
- Providing account information to clients
- Cash checks and accept withdrawal requests per bank policies, referring questionable transactions to supervisor
- Providing special services such as redeeming US Savings Bonds, issuing Official Checks, coin deposits and coin orders
- Processing payments for credit cards, local utilities, and other services and ensuring cut‑off
- Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in cash handling
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Six months of banking experience including new account opening, cash vault custodian, and ATM custodian duties
- General accounting knowledge (debits, credits, balancing)
- Ability to cross‑sell banking products and services
- Sound judgment in decision‑making using established guidelines
- Knowledge of teller drawer equipment (PODs, recyclers, cash drawers, etc.)
- Computer competency:
Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, typing, ten‑key proficient - Strong math skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented and team oriented
- Positive attitude and high integrity
- Regular attendance
- Willingness to accept new ideas and changes
Routine standing, sitting, bending, and stooping; occasional lifting up to 40 pounds; standing for long periods; frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements; average visual acuity; average hearing; may require travel to branch locations and training sessions; must be available for required schedule, including Saturdays.
