Description & Requirements
Forvis Mazars' growing International Tax Services (ITS) Group strives to help companies as they work to achieve tax efficiency in their international operations. From major multinationals already operating in several countries to smaller businesses planning their first foray abroad, companies face a daunting array of regulations and tax concerns that impact and inform their global business decisions.
How you will contribute- Learning aspects of Global Mobility Services, with a focus on individual income tax compliance, including tax consulting and planning; social security tax compliance; as well as withholding tax implications for employees/employers and other high net worth individuals working in and out of the U.S.
- Working with other professionals within our Tax Specialty Services for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
- Attending client status calls and meetings, including providing supporting data and findings for the leadership team
- Providing tax consulting and compliance in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
- Assisting with U.S. tax reporting for international transactions, including the informational foreign reporting for such
- Working with computer programs such as Tax Caddy, Sure Prep, GoSystems and other Microsoft Programs to assist with client deliverables
- Delivering the Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience (UCX) through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

- A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- Maintenance of a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- All accounting (or job-relevant) coursework must be completed with a grade of C or above
- Intermediate Accounting completed with a grade of C or above, where applicable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and be able to attend off-site meetings and events in person
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam or other professional certifications' exams
