Associate, Global Client Group – Traditional Institutional Group

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to‑day activities of the team’s Regional Directors and Senior Associates.
• Prepare presentation materials to be used in meetings with institutional clients and prospects.
• Compile performance data, portfolio commentary and analytical material in preparation for meetings or in response to client inquiries.
• Provide quality control for the data included in client reports and requests.
• Facilitate the completion of due diligence requests and client questionnaires.
• Help maintain CRM database.
• Build marketing lists for institutional luncheons, investment forums and conferences.
• Review and edit RFPs.
• Communicate daily with internal groups, including operations, portfolio management, research, legal, compliance and marketing.
• Some travel may be expected.

• Bachelor’s degree required with a strong academic record
• Background or strong interest in the Financial Services Industry
• 2+ years of work experience in Financial Services or similar field preferred.
• Asset Management experience a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, team-player
• Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently
• Self-starter who is capable of completing multiple projects within set deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Excel and Word) with the ability to learn programs as needed
• Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
• SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses (or attainment within the first 8 weeks of hire as a condition of employment)
