As a senior human resources (HR) consultant
, you’ll partner with Claims leadership and other Progressive professionals to resolve employee-related issues, promote diversity of thought, create an inclusive work environment, and mitigate risk for the organization. As a key member of our HR organization, you’ll support our leadership team in approaching business problems, issues, and strategies. Additionally, you’ll proactively build relationships in a collaborative environment while continuing to make Progressive a great place to work.
Open to candidates residing in Central and Eastern Time Zones with a preference for those who currently reside in North Carolina (NC) or South Carolina (SC) and can easily access travel to our regional offices.
TravelModerate travel expected to connect with customer groups and attend meetings. A candidate based outside of NC or SC will likely experience more travel than a candidate within the area (30-50%).
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of six years related work experience in Human Resources or business operations that includes leading people or cross functional teams.
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of three years related work experience in Human Resources or business operations that includes leading people or cross functional teams.
- Three or more years of human resources business partner/ consultant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of local, state, and federal HR/employment related laws and regulations, such as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), etc.
- $82,000 - $123,000/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
