Senior Product Associate -Trust & Security Authentication Platforms and Modeling

AI/ML is a strategic component to enabling secure and frictionless authentication for the millions of Chase customers who access services across channels. This role works at the intersection of data scientists, business, and technology and will focus on understanding the user journey of authentication, identifying opportunities in customer interaction data, and developing strategy for AI/ML solution development and deployment.

As a Senior Product Associate in Trust & Security Authentication Platforms and Modeling, you will contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

• Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery.
• Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
• Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that bring value to customers.
• Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
• Write the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
• Collaborate with other product teams across Identity and Authentication to ensure AI/ML models incorporate the latest signals and data.
• Explore and evaluate advanced modeling techniques, such as transformers and graph neural networks, to enhance authentication and identity solutions.
• Work closely with data science and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models that address complex business challenges.
• Monitor model performance and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives, including model retraining and feature engineering.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards throughout the model development lifecycle.
• Communicate technical concepts and model outcomes to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and improve product offerings.

• 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
• Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle.
• Experience in product life‑cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition.
• Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage work independently, and be a team player.
• Ability to engage with developers & stakeholders including consumers, project management, upstream & peer groups.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Experience with advanced machine learning architectures, such as transformers and graph neural networks.
• Experience working with large‑scale, real‑time data pipelines and streaming data.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Knowledge of AWS/public‑cloud and Databricks.
