Job Description
Position Title: Power Platform Developer/Programmer - Senior
Location: Raleigh, NC
Anticipated
Start Date:
ASAP
Expected Duration: 12+ Months.
Job Type: On-Site
Pay Range: $50/hr - $53/hr
Provide vital and timely support using MS 365 Power Platform & Office to design, develop, test, modify, implement, secure, and maintain current and future SLGFD systems in test and production environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Power Apps/Dataverse (model-driven & canvas)
- Power Pages (user experience, forms, list connectivity logic and process)
- Power Automate (custom alerts, integrations, and workflows)
- Third‑party applications and database integrations (SQL, SharePoint, external partner data)
- SharePoint (lists, metadata, portal submissions, custom JSON, site permissions)
- Teams (store files, communicate, and keep project artifacts accessible to division)
- One Note (capture, organize and share documentation with all relevant users)
- Analyze, define, estimate, and document work levels of effort.
- Respond to critical or changing priorities.
- Participate in discovery sessions to understand and document the customer’s technical and business requirements for successful completion of projects.
- Ensure user requests for information are documented, addressed, and followed up.
- This position requires onsite work daily in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Execution of all NC security agreements.
- Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle, including comprehensive requirements gathering, high level and detailed systems design, agile development practices, QA testing outcomes and dependencies, and production monitoring and maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with data integration, particularly between Power Apps and Power Automate with Dataverse and SharePoint.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues with existing tools built on MS 365 platforms.
- Strong data analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to communicate technical as well as non-technical information clearly, both orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.
- Strong and documented experience engaging with business owners to identify and document requirements and to support deployed solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft for state government (GCC)
- Microsoft Power Platform exams/certifications
