Preferred Data Corporation is a provider of IT solutions and services, supporting businesses in High Point, NC, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a Vice President to join our team and deliver high-quality support to our clients using our software products.
The Vice President of Customer Experience (VP CX) will provide technical and customer support to clients, assisting with software-related inquiries, troubleshooting, and user guidance. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of software applications who enjoy helping customers succeed.
Responsibilities- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding software functionality, issues, and usage.
- Troubleshoot software problems, guiding clients through solutions or escalating complex issues to technical teams.
- Assist clients with software setup, configuration, and basic training to ensure effective use.
- Document all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately in the support system.
- Collaborate with software development and IT teams to report recurring issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Preferred Data Corporation’s software products and updates.
- Adhere to company policies and customer service standards to ensure client satisfaction.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Basic knowledge of software applications, including familiarity with common business software (ERP Manufacturing , accounting , or similar systems)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Accounting Knowledge is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in customer service or technical support is preferred but not required.
This is an onsite position with potential for hybrid work after training.
