Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Supply Chain Manager located in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point area. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain analysis. Daily tasks include monitoring and optimizing inventory, coordinating with suppliers to ensure accurate procurement, analyzing data to forecast demand, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
The role is focused on ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining cost-effectiveness and delivering value to the organization.
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and shipping goods. Ensure optimal space utilization, inventory accuracy, and cost‑effective transportation. Supervise and develop warehouse staff to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
Purchasing & ProcurementLead the full purchasing cycle, from sourcing and contract negotiation to procurement and distribution. Align purchasing strategies with organizational forecasts and production schedules. Maintain accurate supplier records and ensure timely material replenishment.
Systems & SAP AdministrationManage SAP functions, including creation and maintenance of part/machine codes, pricing updates, and planning table adjustments. Train staff on SAP processes and track equipment status across systems.
Supplier & Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships, resolve disputes, evaluate vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting & BudgetingManage department budgets and produce detailed reports on inventory levels, purchasing activities, and cost‑saving initiatives. Provide sales and production teams with regular reports to support strategic planning.
Compliance & Quality ControlEnsure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Oversee procurement quality and process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with Sales and Operations to align production plans with forecasts in SAP.
Educational / Computer / Work Experience Requirements- 5 years relevant work experience in Purchasing
- Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
- Experience in driving new and innovative solutions for customers and change management
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lead and make sound decisions with minimal oversight in order to prioritize and deliver tasks on time and manage expectations
- Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills
- Highly motivated self‑starter
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand wiring and ladder logic diagrams
- Good understanding of Purchasing processes and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to function in a fast‑paced, demanding environment
- Highly skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks
- Must be teamwork‑oriented and able to build strong customer relationships
- Experience and proficiency in SAP
- Bilingual:
English/Spanish or English/Italian preferred

They must have the ability to remain calm and focused to patiently resolve issues in a stressful environment.
