What You'll Do

As a Senior Global Sourcing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products are supported by a resilient, high-performing supply base.

Key responsibilities include:

Serve as the primary liaison between Asia-based suppliers and Mexico manufacturing operations, aligning sourcing strategies around cost, quality, lead time, and supply continuity.
Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for components and raw materials that support operational excellence and long-term business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while proactively managing supply chain risks and market changes.
Manage supplier performance reviews using KPIs and scorecards to drive improvements in quality, delivery, service, and total cost of ownership.
Partner with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and SIOP teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and strategic growth initiatives.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering projects, and process improvements.
Monitor global market trends, commodity movements, and supply chain developments to anticipate risks and maintain continuity of supply.
Support inventory optimization and service-level goals through collaboration with Purchasing and SIOP teams.
Travel domestically and internationally to strengthen supplier relationships, support sourcing initiatives, and drive project success.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience.
Experience developing and managing supplier relationships in a global sourcing environment.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, furniture, consumer products, or durable goods industries.
Knowledge of supplier performance management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP, planning, and supply chain management systems.
Experience leading cost-reduction, value engineering, or supplier development initiatives.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop sourcing strategies that improve business performance.
