Job DescriptionJoin our Toyota Material Handling Team as an Inventory Control Analyst
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Inventory Control Analyst who brings decisiveness, strong decision‑making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring timely availability of materials required for production while optimizing inventory levels and analyzing supply chain metrics to drive performance. This position will analyze inventory reports, identify and countermeasure issues, analyze performance metrics, and strategically mitigate delivery risks from the supply chain.

- Inventory Management:
Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs. Effectively utilize inventory management tools to prevent stock shortages and overages. Ensure proper part set up for ordering in accordance with “Plan for Every Part” initiative. - Order Management:
Generate purchase orders, track order status, and expedite deliveries as necessary to prevent production disruption. - Data Analysis:
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning and inventory management to identify areas for improvement. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize inventory turnover. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Logistics, Production Planning, and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth coordination across the supply chain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or equivalent years of experience.
- Proficient with MS Office applications and highly talented in Excel.
- Experience with production planning systems, MRP, Kanban, and Just-In-Time inventory techniques is preferred.
- CSPM or APICS certification is a plus.
- Results oriented and strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at any level.
- In-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands‑on, team‑oriented environment.
- Travel: up to 20% (domestic and international).
Salary - $65,000 – 90,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Relocation - This role is eligible for relocation assistance based on current location.
