Job Summary

Join our amazing printing team in High Point! Vericast is looking for a Maintenance Technician I to help ensure our production equipment operates efficiently and reliably every day.

Compensation & Hours
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $20.80 - $33.10, plus $1.75 hourly shift differential
  • Hours:

    Sunday – Thursday 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Location:

    Harland Clark, a Vericast business – year‑round temperature‑controlled, bright, clean manufacturing printing team‑based environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Support operators with minor maintenance needs and help identify root causes of equipment problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities.
  • Assist higher‑level technicians with equipment rebuilds, upgrades, and improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with team leaders, engineers, and operators to prioritize equipment needs and improve performance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional mechanical or electronic coursework preferred.
  • Strong mechanical reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience using Windows‑based PC applications.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and hot work permit procedures a plus.
  • Working knowledge of lockout/tagout and hot work permits; ability to understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions.
Physical Demands / Working Conditions
  • Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary duties.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, prolonged walking, standing, lifting up to 40 lbs on a regular basis, stooping, bending and ladder climbing.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
