The Custodian will be responsible for all housekeeping of the Boysand Girls Club.

• Chapel:
  Dust wooden surfaces, vacuum the carpet,pick up all papers left over from the meetings, make sure all songbooks are intheir proper places and notify the maintenance staff of any problems with light bulbs, etc.
• Bathrooms:
  Clean all sinks, toilets and urinals,check paper supplies, (toilet paper and paper towels, etc.), sweep and mop thefloors.
• Classrooms:
  Vacuum, empty the trash, clean the furniture and straighten up the room and ready it for use.
• Offices:
  Empty all the garbage, vacuum thefloor, and dust.
• Kitchen: empty garbage, put away kitchen items,sweep and mop floors.
• Lobby:
  Vacuum, arrange chairs in orderly manner.
• Boys and Girls Club Entrance
• Boys and Girls Club Game Room
• Gymnasium

Perform other janitorial/maintenance tasks as assigned.

Will appear atwork on time ready to work scheduled hours.

High School Diploma or equivalent

None required

• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read,write, and communicate the English language
• Ability to exertthe physical energy required to perform housekeeping work.
• Ability toperform continuous walking, stooping, standing, climbing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.)

Work is performed in a normal church / office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
