Are you ready to lead a flagship K-12 ground-up project and play a key role in shaping educational facilities within the Greensboro community?
A well-established and highly respected General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take full leadership of a major K-12 development in the Greensboro area. This is a high-profile, long-term project where your expertise will directly impact schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder relationships.
As the lead decision-maker from preconstruction through closeout, you will set the standard for execution, accountability, and collaboration across the entire project lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to confidently manage complex public-sector builds.
You will:- Lead overall project strategy and execution from preconstruction through final delivery
- Drive budget management, cost control, and schedule performance
- Identify risks early and implement proactive solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Oversee subcontractor performance and field coordination in partnership with the Superintendent
- Mentor and develop Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and public-sector requirements
- Proven Project Manager ready to step into a Senior PM role, or an experienced Senior Project Manager
- Demonstrated success delivering $30M–$50M+ K-12 or large-scale ground-up projects
- Strong understanding of public-sector construction processes and stakeholder coordination
- Confident leader with excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule and within budget
- Ability to manage high-visibility assignments with professionalism and discretion
