Job Summary

This position is responsible for the virtual recruitment of students for Georgia Highlands College. This role requires a highly creative, digitally savvy individual who can connect with prospective students in authentic and compelling ways online.

Responsibilities
  • Understands, supports, and carries out the college's mission, vision, and values and complies with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies
  • Implements recruitment strategies for prospective students virtually, including social media and website build
  • Coordinates activities with all campuses and community partners
  • Provides prospective students, high school counselors, and community partners with information concerning the admissions process, admissions decisions, orientation, registration, and financial aid processing on all social platforms
  • Coordinates and provides virtual campus/instructional site tours to prospective students
  • Conducts workshops and coordinates special events and activities designed to boost enrollment
  • Tracks prospective students through the enrollment pipeline
  • Utilizes technology to track prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment process
  • Provides outreach and communication to prospective and applied students through the application and enrollment process
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Develop engaging, visually appealing, and shareable content for social media to attract prospective students
  • Build and maintain a personal "voice" for the college on social platforms while promoting programs and events
  • Leverage trends and creative storytelling to increase reach and connection with prospective students
Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field
  • Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the subunits in the division/department in order to direct and coordinate work within the division/department
  • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
Preferred Qualifications

Six months or more of experience with admissions, social media, or marketing

Proposed Salary

$19.23 per hour
