The startup phase required entrepreneurial energy, adaptability, and a willingness to build from the ground up. The next chapter requires an executive who can transform vision into execution, connect strategy with daily operations, and build an organization capable of delivering sustained results.

The President, Commercial Operations serves as the senior business leader responsible for the organizational performance of Carolina Core FC. Operating on behalf of Carolina Core Ventures, this individual ensures the organization remains aligned with our mission, vision, values, and long-term strategic priorities.

This leader owns the organization's annual operating plan and enterprise goals, translating strategy into execution by aligning people, priorities, systems, and resources across every department. Success in this role is measured not simply by revenue growth, but by organizational performance, leadership development, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability.

This is not a symbolic leadership position. This is an operating executive who believes leadership is measured by results, the development of people, and the ability to build an organization that performs at a championship level.

Success in this role means building an organization where every person understands how their work contributes to the mission, every department is aligned around common priorities, and performance improves because leaders are developed, systems are strong, and accountability is consistent.

• Partner with Carolina Core Ventures to establish the organization’s annual priorities, strategic initiatives, and enterprise goals.
• Translate strategy into clear departmental business plans and measurable execution.
• Own the organization’s annual budget and P&L, allocating financial, human, and operational resources to maximize long-term organizational performance.
• Forecast performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and proactively adjust plans to achieve annual financial and strategic objectives.
• Build an organization where leaders think beyond their own departments and make decisions in the best interest of the enterprise.
• Create a culture where accountability, coaching, feedback, and continuous improvement are part of everyday leadership.
• Develop Vice Presidents and department leaders into stronger, more capable business leaders.
• Use data, reporting, and performance metrics to identify trends, evaluate results, and adjust strategies quickly.
• Create systems and operating rhythms that improve organizational alignment, communication, and execution.
• Balance urgency with thoughtful decision-making in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Strengthen collaboration between business operations, sporting leadership, and Carolina Core Ventures.
• Serve as a trusted steward of the organization’s resources while positioning Carolina Core FC for long-term financial sustainability and growth.
